
BEGINNER WEIGHTLIFTING
We all have to start somewhere! Beginner weightlifters need to learn the basics; positions, movement, timing, even the technical language we use! Since teaming up with Empowered Fit Liverpool, we now have a few options for beginner weightlifters!

Technique classes
From September 2025 we will be running weightlifting technique sessions at Empowered Fit Liverpool. This will be in a class format, but will get you from completely new to the sport to snatching, cleaning, jerking, squatting, and pulling!
These classes are actually included in your empowered fit membership, no extra payment required!

121 Sessions
121 sessions will be the fastest way for you to learn. These 60 minute sessions are built entirely around you and dedicated to helping you get technique down, and get stronger where needed!
To book 121 you should contact us directly via email to organise your sessions.

Club coaching
We accept late stage beginners into our team training sessions, but not complete beginners! It is best to gain some experience through technique classes and 121 options first!
You should already be able to perform the olympic lifts to a basic degree, as well as squat, and push press.
*All club coaching options require a valid empowered fit membership
*121 sessions do not require an empowered fit gym membership
